Stationery Office Offers 30% Print Savings

The Stationery Office in the UK has entered in to a partnership with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) in a move designed to save BRC members up to 30 per cent on print and document services.

The Stationery Office in the UK has entered in to a partnership with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) in a move designed to save BRC members up to 30 per cent of their annual spend on print and document services.

TSO is offering BRC members a health check of their complete print production processes, from initial design through to warehousing the finished product.

TSO aims to improve product quality, reduce lead times and lower the transaction and product costs by using its own experience and buying power, as well as its long-term relationships with printing industry manufacturers.

TSO has just been awarded the Cabinet Office's Charter Mark for its customer service.

Collin Chamberlain, TSO's business development director said: "BRC members together spend many millions of pounds on operational print, direct mail, marketing print and point of sale material.

This partnership aims to bring together the buying power of BRC members with the expertise of TSO.

By combining our considerable print expertise with supply chain management skills, we expect to improve control of print expenditure, time to market and brand compliance, all at a significantly reduced cost." Kevin Hawkins, director general of BRC said: "BRC members are always striving for improvements in efficiency to enable them to offer the best possible value to their customers.

A partnership such as this enables our members to draw on the immense experience of TSO to ensure that its print production process is as cost-effective and efficient as possible, enabling it to offer an even more competitive service to their customers.".
