Stationery Office Updates Green Standard
The UK's Stationery Office (TSO) has joined a 'dedicate-a-tree scheme' as a step towards the climate change programme.
The UK's Stationery Office (TSO) has joined a 'dedicate-a-tree scheme' as a step towards the climate change programme The company has also achieved the latest ISO 14001:2004 standard with its environmental management practices, following a successful BSI assessment
Mike Linsdell, head of compliance at TSO said: "We are very pleased to have successfully updated our standard.
Not many companies in our sector can claim the same degree of environmental management as TSO.
The trees are a small step towards dealing with global warming and we hope to be able to dedicate more in the future." The trees are located in Donkleywood, Northumberland National Park, as part of a programme managed by the planting partners of The Carbon Neutral Company.
