The Stationery Office (TSO) in the UK has renewed its contracts with both Houses of Parliament for printing and distributing Parliamentary papers.

The Stationery Office (TSO) in the UK, the document and publishing services provider, has renewed its contracts with both Houses of Parliament for the printing and distribution of Parliamentary papers.

The contract also includes Parliament's electronic publishing on the internet and the Houses' intranet.

The contracts, which TSO said were won in a complex and demanding competition, are for 10 years in the House of Commons and for six years in the House of Lords, with possibilities of extending each.

TSO manages the production and distribution of documents critical to the operation of Parliament including Hansards, Bill and Select Committee papers, as well as daily Order of Business papers and other daily working papers (the 'Vote Bundle') in the Commons and the equivalent in the Lords known as the Minute and Order paper.

Richard Dell, TSO's chief executive officer, said: "These were crucial contracts for us to retain.

They are the bedrock of our business and give us important security that underpins the development and growth of TSO in the provision of document and publishing services in both the public and private sectors.".
