TSO, the UK document and publishing services provider, has signed a deal with BSI, the UK's national standards body, to offer its members savings on their print budgets.

TSO, the UK document and publishing services provider, has signed a deal with BSI, the UK's national standards body, to offer its members savings on their print budgets.

Under the deal, TSO (The Stationery Office) is offering BSI's gold and silver members a 'print health check', which can cut print budgets by up to one-third, claimed the company.

The deal follows a similar agreement between TSO and the British Retail Consortium in 2005.

Collin Chamberlain, TSO's business development director said: "Publishing costs can eat a serious hole in marketing and operating budgets.

We hope to be able to demonstrate to BSI members that TSO's best practice approach to print, design, production and distribution can bring substantial benefits to them." John Tomlinson, BSI's head of customer and commercial development commented: "The BSI welcomes this agreement with the TSO.

This deal will give our members access to TSO's knowledge and skills, which will help them reduce costs and maintain the quality they expect from their publications.".
