TSO, the document and publishing services provider, has launched two more branded on-line bookshops, for the British Standards Institution and the British Retail Consortium.

TSO, the document and publishing services provider, has launched two more branded on-line bookshops, for the British Standards Institution and the British Retail Consortium.

The new service is claimed to be capable of marrying TSO's existing on-line bookshop with a customer's existing intranet or extranet, creating a dedicated bookshop that carries the customer's corporate branding and web layout but with all the functions of TSO's own site.

BSI has over 20,000 corporate members drawn primarily from the engineering, manufacturing and construction sector.

BSI's bookshop is part of its new range of services for members and offers a full range of TSO and other relevant publications.

In the first two weeks since launch the bookshop site has received over 1,000 visitors.

The British Retail Consortium is the UK's leading trade association for retailers of all varieties and sizes.

The new bookshop will sit within BRC's current site and in addition to its own publications, such as the BRC Global Standards, the bookshop offers a range of related titles.

Jeremy Hook, managing director of TSO Publishing Services, said: "This new service combines TSO's expertise in website development with our experience of running one of the UK's largest and most successful on-line bookshops.

These two sites are the latest managed on-line bookshops TSO runs for clients and they join those of the BBC, CBI and other organisations in what is proving to be a popular service.".
