Stationery Office Offers 30% Print Savings
The Stationery Office in the UK has entered in to a partnership with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) in a move designed to save BRC members up to 30 per cent on print and document services.
TSO is the document and publishing services provider on behalf of an industry working group that includes the Royal Mail, Packaging Federation, local authorities' coordinators of regulatory services, the National Farmers' Union and the Mail Order Fine Foods Association.
The guides will help operators meet legal requirements and ensure food safety.
All the guides have a special status in law - where a business is following the guidance in any of the recognised guides, the enforcement authority must take that in to account when assessing compliance with the legislation.
All the guides will be officially recognised by the Food Standards Agency and will be written by industry members and key stakeholders, with each guide focusing on a different sector of the food industry.
