Tullis Russell, the independent Scottish papermaker, has achieved Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody Certification for its Solid Bleached Sulphate (SBS) coated brand - Trucard.
Trucard is now fully FSC-accredited and includes a new recycled product option.
In addition to the standard one-sided and two-sided coated versions - Trucard 1 gloss, Trucard 2 gloss and Trucard 2 matt - a number of special options are also available.
They include Trucard 1 gloss book, a coated one side grade made specifically for the publishing sector and Trucard 1 gloss extra, a lick back coated option.
Trucard 1 and 2 gloss emboss, a one-sided or two-sided coated option is also available in a variety of embossed patterns.
The new brand identity will be reinforced using a variety of promotional tools.
Finger swatches, technical information sheets and a 'Tru Guide' will give users and specifiers of Trucard the information they need to make their choice, said Tullis Russell.
The campaign, which will roll out in 13 countries, focuses on communicating the message of service, delivery and performance by building a theme around the word 'tru', which originates from the English word 'true' and builds on associated themes of faith, loyalty and accuracy.
Malcolm Sinclair, Tullis Russell's marketing director, explained: "Paper people want to deal with passionate, efficient knowledgeable partners who give great service.
They want their board to arrive on time and in perfect condition and they'd like it to perform brilliantly when on press.
So that's what we're offering with Trucard.
We are confident that Trucard aligns perfectly with the needs of an ever more demanding European marketplace.".
