New Cleaners For Water-Based And Oil-Based Inks
TNC Chemicals has launched two new products for the cleaning of water-based and oil-based inks and the replacement of solvent cleaners.
The company added that cleaning is part of everyday life for printers so it made Ink Wash product easy and as safe as possible, remembering that many people in printing spend eight hours every day cleaning.
Not only is Ink Wash claimed to be environmentally safe, it is odourless and pleasant to use unlike conventional solvents and other cleaners that have strong odours.
Another benefit to Ink Wash is it does not produce hazardous waste like solvents, as when they are used on cloths not only is there a strong odour released in to the atmosphere, which is unpleasant for everyone in that environment, but the cleaning cloth also becomes hazardous waste.
Ink Wash was produced for printers with all aspects of general cleaning taken in to account, said the company.
Firstly it cleans off the inks, (water based and oil based) from floors, walls and printing presses, for instance.
To make the product as safe as possible TNC added that Ink Wash does not contain any irritants or corrosives.
It is also said to be safe on all surfaces, environmentally safe and biodegradable.
Ink Wash is water soluble and is dilutable, which makes it cost effective.
It can also be used for degreasing components, added TNC.
