The Industry Measure has released its report, Creative Forecast 2007: The Industry Measure Perspective on the Challenges and Opportunities for the Graphic Design and Production Industry'.

The Industry Measure's report analyses the prospects for the next 12 months and beyond for advertising agencies and graphic designers working in print, other media and the web.

The 168-page document analyses the prevailing economic environment, the current state of the industry (drawing on US government's data, as well as The Industry's Measure's own 11-year historical database of survey results).

The report also details the major forces with which those markets will have to contend in the next year.

The Creative Forecast 2007 report also takes a look at the most recent Industry Measure survey results on such topics as multi-channel marketing and 'cross-media' development, digital and variable-data printing, as well as online and remote proofing, amongst other subjects.

The Industry Measure said its latest investment projections for more than 100 equipment, hardware, and software categories are also provided, together with current media trends.

It analyses how new media technology and new platforms and an increasing emphasis on multi-channel marketing, are creating what it described as unprecedented challenges and opportunities for creative personnel.

The Creative Forecast 2007 report is said to complement The Industry Measure's Printing Forecast 2007, which was published last October, which covers the commercial printing and pre-press markets and Publishing Forecast 2007, which was published last month.

The latter covers the book, magazine and catalogue publishing markets.

The three individual reports are also available in discounted combination packages, added The Industry Measure.
