A new printing blanket operating unit has been created following the acquisition of Reeves by the Trelleborg Group.

As part of the integration of Reeves in to Trelleborg, a new printing blanket operating unit has been created, which will combine Reeves in Italy, the USA-based Reeves Brothers and Reeves New Printing Products in Shanghai (China).
Reeves will adopt the Trelleborg name, with the change happening at the Italian operation with immediate effect.
The company's products will continue to be promoted under the Vulcan brand.
Dario Porta, president of the Trelleborg printing blankets operating unit, said: "The transfer will be seamless.
We feel this change will unify our total Vulcan brand offering and the quality of support and service we give to our customers will be enhanced by our future plans." He continued: "Our business is core within the Trelleborg Group.
It will be an exciting time and there will be significant investment in research, development, production and promotion of Vulcan printing blankets.
This will further strengthen our position as one of the world's leading suppliers of offset printing blankets globally to the web, sheetfed, newspaper, business forms, metal decorating and packaging markets." The printing blanket operating unit, which is a part of Trelleborg Engineered Systems, has 50 years' experience in the printing industry, more than any other blanket producer, it is claimed.
That knowledge is combined with technology, patented processes, vertical integration and quality management, added the company.
Servicing 60 countries on five continents, the Vulcan brand is supplied to the web, sheetfed, newspaper, business forms, metal decorating and packaging markets.
