Trelleborg Printing Blankets' UK distributor for the Vulcan range of offset blankets, MAN Roland Consumables, has appointed Bob Whitney as national blanket technical manager.
Whitney will support the Vulcan range of offset printing blankets sold by MAN Roland Consumables He has been with the company for 12 years and has specialised in blanket technology during his 40 years in the graphic arts industry

Trelleborg Printing Blankets' Vulcan blankets are available for every area of printing, said the company, with the range including versions for conventional printing, as well as UV, hybrid and specialist printing.
In addition to the commercial sheet-fed and packaging sectors, Vulcan blankets are used by UK commercial heatset and newspaper printers, an area where metal-backed and sleeve cylinder blankets are becoming increasingly popular, added the company.
