Triangle Acquires Advantage Printing

Triangle Printers president David Saltzman has announced the acquisition of Advantage Printing of Addison, Illinois.

The acquisition - the second one for Triangle this year - is expected to significantly strengthen Triangle's already prominent presence in the Chicago market while expanding several new business avenues for the company in the greeting card, tourism and insurance categories.

Charged with overseeing Triangle's newest expansion is Advantage's former president and founder, Shiv Mendiratta, 59, who takes on the role of senior account executive for Triangle.

A native of Oak Brook, Mendiratta founded Advantage in 1988, quickly building a solid reputation for quality and service in the commercial printing industry.

"Needless to say, I'm very pleased to be joining the Triangle family," said Mendiratta, "and extremely confident that this acquisition will yield many new opportunities in terms of expanding Triangle's client base in and throughout the Chicagoland area".

Said Saltzman of the Advantage acquisition: "The goal of bringing Shiv aboard is not only to open new doors, but to bolster our existing client service team with talent and expertise of his caliber".

"Shiv possesses both personal warmth and professional integrity, and we believe that this new partnership will help us achieve the lofty goals we have set for ourselves in 2008 and beyond".

Triangle's first acquisition of 2007 was the purchase of Chicago Graphics in May from second generation owner and president Robert Kaplan, who is now a part of the Triangle sales and marketing team.
