Turning Point Technologies (TPT) has strengthened its Colour Products Division with the appointment of Andy Fraser as colour management specialist and Luke Lanham as colour technical engineer.

Fraser has over 18 years experience within the graphic arts industry and joins TPT from TAG Worldwide, where he managed the digital proofing department.

He takes on the direct responsibility for identifying future development potential for existing products and conducting market analyses to inform and prioritise new product development projects for TPT.

Lanham has a background in IT and, as a fully trained Epson engineer, he allows the company to offer full support with a repair service to new and existing customers.

They join sales director Tom Gent and Leigh Medhurst, the company's business development manager to provide what Turning Point believes is the most experienced colour team fielded by any UK supplier.

Colour expertise is central to TPT's services and the company has expanded the department in response to the increasing demand for professional colour systems and advice from its customers.

TPT integrates a range of products from Epson, GMG, Dalim Software, Xinet, Luscher, Xerox and SGI to provide scalable server systems, storage and digital asset management systems, e-procurement, multi-functional colour managed workflows, very large format CTP, digital proofing and printing networks.

The Colour Products Division at TPT offers proofing systems, press calibration, repair services, colour audits, colour management training days, and for GMG customers only, a service contract telephone number and on-site support throughout the UK.

Tom Gent commented: "We recognise the importance of accurate colour for managing contract-level digital proofing for both local and remote applications.

Consequently we have created a highly experienced colour team to ensure customers establish accurate and repeatable colour-managed workflows from creation to printed output.

We integrate Epson inkjet printers with GMG software to suit specific customer applications and ensure the best performance with the highest flexibility, backed up by continuing support that allows professionals to manage hard and soft proofing to guarantee the highest quality results.".
