Turning Point Technologies (TPT) has appointed Paul Fitch as business development manager for its Digital Print Equipment Division.

Turning Point Technologies (TPT) has appointed Paul Fitch as business development manager for its Digital Print Equipment Division.

Systems integrator TPT said that it is experiencing an upsurge in the demand for digital printing services from agencies, publishers and printers.

Fitch's appointment is part of the company's strategy to expand its digital print equipment business and over the next few months, TPT added that it will be adding more digital experts to the team and increasing the range of digital front end and print technology in its portfolio.

Steve Emerson, TPT's managing director, said: "TPT is going from strength to strength and Paul has just the right credentials to fill this demanding new role.

Paul has an excellent knowledge of Xerox products and their applications will be a huge asset to the company and a key element in our future development." Fitch will initially focus on promoting the new Luscher Inkjet system, all Xerox products and personalisation software.

He has an established graphic arts background, starting his career with MAN Roland before joining Colyer Graphics to concentrate on Xerox digital equipment sales.

Fitch commented: "My experience with Colyer Graphics and MAN Roland has been perfect preparation for this new role.

It is a great time to join when a company is going in to a huge growth period.
