It comprising GMG's Colorproof 04 colour management software driving Epson's 7600 and 4000 inkjet printers all supplied Turning Point Technologies.

"We needed to find a tighter, quicker way to operate so we opted for a GMG/Epson proofing system and it has been one of the most financial and productive moves we have ever made," explained Allan Finamore, a director of Epilogue Imaging.

A digital retoucher, works closely with fashion photographer Nick Knight and was responsible for producing the last 15 Christian Dior advertising campaigns, as well as cover shoots for Vogue and album covers for Craig David, Massive Attack, Madonna, Robbie Williams and the Rolling Stones.

Finamore added: "Before we invested in the GMG/Epson system, outsourcing all our proofing was becoming increasingly expensive and could take up to a day to process.

We can now produce our own proofs in-house in minutes." It is vital for Finamore and his team that the proofs produced are spot-on and are of the highest quality, so that every detail is clear, the colours are accurate and the company can have total confidence when showing its clients.

Hours are spent pouring over different proofs, comparing the tiniest of changes, so the proof needs to be absolutely perfect.
