Turning Point Technologies (TPT) has appointed Simon Roberts as senior integration analyst to its growing technical team.

Turning Point Technologies (TPT) has appointed Simon Roberts as senior integration analyst to its growing technical team.

Roberts will be working closely with TPT's customers providing pre-sales support, including customer analysis and consultancy, demonstration and proof of concept, to specialist training.

A software engineer by profession, Roberts has spent the last 15 years working in graphics.

In 1997, he co-founded Silicon Systems, taking the role of technical director with responsibility for pre-sales, post-sales support and internal IT services as well as external consultancy services.

In 2005 he started his own consultancy and training company servicing customers including BT, Typeform and Technik.

He commented: "I have always utilised my skills to provide technical support to programmers so my analytical and problem-solving skills are particular strengths.

My 18 years' experience are perfect for this new role at TPT where I will also be analysing new and emerging products and trends and applying them to new and existing markets and customers." Steve Emerson, managing director of TPT, said: "With his wide range of skills and experience, Simon will be able to provide a high level of customer service, keep customers up to date with product developments and provide technical advice and direction.

He has a terrific reputation in the industry and will be a huge asset to TPT.".
