Staplers Augment Expanding In-House Finishing
Swindon (UK) digital service provider, Cats Solutions, is growing its in-house finishing department having bought another 10 Stago H18T staplers from Total Print Finishing Services.
Martyn Jarrett, production director at Cats Solutions commented: "We were awarded the Cornwall County Council contract just before Christmas with the stipulation that we had to be up and running by the first week of January to fully resource the council's printing requirements.
As a result, we decided to set up a new local digital printing facility in Truro to manage the council's print and print finishing requirements." And he added: "However, as the timescales were extremely tight, it was critical that our suppliers could source the range of equipment we specified in time for the first day of operation.
We've worked with Total PFS for 12 years now and have grown our businesses together, so there wasn't any question of going anywhere else for our finishing equipment.
I spoke with the Dave Peters, sales director at Total, who was able to provide me with exactly what we needed and within the very tight timescale required, as well as recommend and source additional suppliers to help manage setting up the new facility.
Total PFS really did go beyond the call of duty, which was greatly appreciated and confirms why it continues to remain one of our valued suppliers." Clive Richardson, managing director at Total PFS said: "This is a great order for Total PFS and we have been delighted to support Cats Solutions' latest business venture.
Although timescales were tight, we were confident we could cater for the company's specific requirements.
We believe that hard work and solid supplier relations are a positive mix in helping clients achieve their business goals, as well as creating long-standing customer relationships." He explained: "Cats Solutions believes in investing in robust finishing equipment that provides premium results.
As finishing has become a key part of its business, it has also been our job to advise and supply the right equipment to support not only the company's printing processes but also its customer requirements.
The new Truro facility has expanded Cats Solutions' service to the south-west region and by doing so, has addressed the demand in this market for high-quality digital print." Jarrett continued: "Total PFS's support and input has been invaluable throughout the development of the Truro facility.
The company's fast turn-around times and commitment to customer service has been a key component in helping to develop a strong, positive relationship between our two businesses over the years.
I firmly believe it offers a personal touch and always delivers what it promises - something that's not always prevalent in business today.".
