System Meets On-Demand Signs Demands

Total Print Finishing Services (Total PFS) has introduced the Total RP Sign and Presentation System.

Said by the company to be developed for on-demand sign production, educational, high-street, in-plant and commercial printing, the Total RP is a system that enables users to create and finish standard and bespoke commercial signs.

According to Total PFS the flexibility of the system means it can also be used as a rigid presentation method to enhance other printed documents and graphics.

Businesses that buy Total RP are provided with log-in details for a dedicated sign production website where they can download a choice of signage.

Those options include standard health and safety, warning, directional, public information, compliance or prohibition signs.

The signs come in a standard or bespoke format, the latter enabling users to amend the text dependent on specific requirements, said Total PFS.

Once printed, the signs can be mounted on to a range of substrates, including plastic and cardboard using the Total RP's Easy Wind manual mounting system.

Alternatively, companies can design their own signs or documents and use the Total RP to mount them ready for immediate use.

Clive Richardson, managing director at Total PFS said: "It's been a very positive year for Total PFS to date and we're delighted to be announcing another new product under the Total brand.

The Total RP Sign and Presentation System is a flexible and affordable mounting system that has been designed to address on- demand sign production for multiple markets." He explained: "It's simple design means signs can be printed from a desktop printer before being mounted manually using the machine.

The innate flexibility of the product means it can be used in a variety of environments enabling users to quickly and effortlessly create a variety of signs for the workplace." The Total RP Sign and Presentation System has a mounting width of 300mm and can mount signs on substrates up to a maximum thickness of 5mm.

The machine has a total weight of 4kg and a footprint of 400mm width, 410mm depth and 205mm in height.

The Total RP also has a fold-away feed and reception tray, fully adjustable pressure-feed rollers, a document and sign registration tray, as well as a tear off rule that can be used in either left-hand or right-hand operation.
