Binding Systems Now Available From New UK Dealer

The Planax range of finishing equipment, including Copybinder 3 and FII Perfect Binder are now available from Total Print Finishing Services (Total PFS).

The development comes after Total PFS secured the sole distribution agency for Planatol's range of print finishing products in the UK.

Planax's UK distributor, Renz UK, relinquished the distributorship to enable the company to concentrate on its core business following increased demand for its own products.

The Copybinder 3 is said to be suitable for digital print houses, high street copy shops, corporate in-plant operations, or offices and is a semi-automatic thermo-binding system.

It has a 'one touch' bind function and can be used with Planax Cobi linen binding strips.

It is claimed to bind from five sheets to 330 sheets of up to A4 size.

The Planax Perfect Binder FII is a cold glue binder.

According to Total PFS, cold glue dispersion is used to provide perfect binding of high-quality books and brochures in editions of 170 units per hour.

The FII is said to provide a short set-up time, ease of operation and to have the flexibility to perfect bind litho and digital stock.
