RISI, the information provider for the global forest industry, has selected UPM president and chief executive officer, Jussi Pesonen, as the European CEO of the year for the forest products industry.
RISI, the information provider for the global forest industry, has selected UPM president and chief executive officer, Jussi Pesonen, as the European CEO of the year for the forest products industry.
Rhiannon James-van Beuningen, vice president of media products at RISI, said the award recognises Pesonen's role in the continuing transformation of UPM and the European forest products industry.
Pesonen was nominated in a survey of investment analysts and portfolio managers covering the forest products industry.
The criteria for nomination included leadership, vision and strategic accomplishment.
