Software Imposes Acrobat 8 PDFs Without
Changes
Imposition of native PDF files from Acrobat 8 without them being interpreted or changed at all is now said to be offered by Impostrip 8.4 in what is claimed to be a first for imposition software.
Ultimate Technographics said that Impostrip v8.4 is also the first imposition software that supports Postscript output from Acrobat 8 Impostrip 8.4 also supports binary compression of PDF files to reduce the size of plate files
The compression is claimed to be useful to reduce transmission time of PDF plates on networks, or through the internet.
The new software is a free upgrade to all users who are on Ultimate Technographics' Ultimate Support Plan.
The full Impostrip line of products will be presented at Graph Expo, from September 9 - 12 on stand number 5427.
