AB Graphic International will feature the latest developments in slitting, rewinding and web inspection machines at Drupa 2004.
The company has manufactured and sold more than 300 labellers into the USA, Japan and European markets.
Van den Bergh believes that there are thousands of sheetfed and digital business printers who would welcome a service to have their high quality printed sheets enhanced with added value features, by acquiring a machine at a realistic cost, which would enable them to expand their customer.
The Docufinish is said to be capable of performing and applying, labels, booklets, holographic labels and films, RFID labels, flexible cards, clear plastic labels, making integrated labels and cards, magnetic foils, die-cutting, perforating and scoring, slug-outs, for example.
Patch or label application may cause uneven stack build-up but that would not affect multiple passes through the machine.
The machine can handle sheets, envelopes and cardboard boxes up to 600æm, at speeds up to 7,000 B3 sheets per hour.
