Pioneering the flatbed
A Vutek PressVU UV 180 flatbed digital printing system has been installed at ESP Technologies Group
UK specialist manufacturer of corporate graphics ESP Technologies Group has purchased a Vutek PressVU UV 180 flatbed digital printing system The first production model of the versatile piezo printer has been installed at the company's digital and screen printing facility in Maidstone, Kent
ESP has elected to pioneer commercial use of the PressVU 180, which is delivering 600dpip resolution and eight-colour printing.
Its ink system eliminates banding and enhances the UV curing process.
The 1.8m wide PressVU 180 will be a stablemate for the 5m wide Vutek UltraVU 5300, which ESP installed in the summer of 2000.
