UV Flatbed Printers On Show At Screenprint '06

On display at the show will be the Pressvu UV 200/600 UV-curing flatbed printer thast is saidf to provide the highest image quality and greatest versatility available today in a UV-curing printer.

The Pressvu UV 200/600 digital inkjet printer is loaded with features typically found on more expensive models, such as six-colour, 600 dots per inch (dpi) capabilities.

The machine is also said to allow operators to print on a variety of sheet-fed or roll-to-roll materials around the clock.

Vutek believes that the Pressvu UV 200/600 enables owners to expand their services and satisfy a variety of long-term outdoor and indoor applications.

The PressVu UV 200/600 is claimed to print up to two metres (80") wide at up to 33 square metres per hour (350 square feet) on rigid materials up to 4.45cm (1.75") thick.

Colour gradients are smooth in the printer's six-colour mode, accurate and repeatable matching of target colours is now possible, added the company.

Also on display will be the Pressvu UV 320/400 UV-curing flatbed printer, featuring improved text quality and designed to help digital print providers increase profitability.

The new 600dpi mode for the Pressvu UV 320/400 is claimed to provide improved text quality, especially for applications that require close viewing.

The machine is said to print high quality, high resolution images on rigid substrates up to 4.45cm (1.75") thick and up to 3.2 metres (126") wide.

It provides productivity up to 93 square metres (1,000 square feet) per hour, equal to 14, two-metre x three-metre (20, 4' x 8') sheets per hour.

The UV-curing flatbed printer also features roll-to-roll capability, giving customers the flexibility to offer a full range of services, making it suitable for applications ranging from billboards to POP.

The PressVu UV 320/400 is claimed to print on a range of sheet-fed and roll-to-roll substrates.

With a quick set-up that can be done by one person in less than one minute, customers can focus more time on producing rather than preparing work.
