What happened to old-fashioned pen and paper
D and AD, the professional association and charity for the design and advertising communities, has released its annual review.
As such, the newly-branded business will comprise four divisions.
The first of those, White Zone, is focused on strategy and brand design, whilst Gilchrist's emphasis is on brand graphics and implementation.
Meanwhile, Sun Brand Technologies, made up of the Odin, brand launch management application and Your Packaging Partner, the packaging technology and database service, complete the new structure.
The company commented that the changes will increase the value provided to brand owners through diversification and expanding its capabilities to meet market trends.
Paul Bean, Sun Branding Solutions' managing director, said: "This is an exciting era for the company.
We have been planning the strategy of the business to enable us to establish creative and strong brands in preparation for the future.
There is not a competitor on the market that can challenge our proposition.
Each individual brand is a market leader in its respective field and the breadth of our collective brands, coupled with our focus on innovation, across creative, process, technology and service, brings together unique solutions to complex business and people issues." He added: "In readiness for the re-branding process we have invested in each of the brands teams to strengthen the individual and collective company offer to our blue chip clientele and increase our ability to integrate new clients to create future growth." He explained that by grouping White Zone, Gilchrist, Sun Brand Technologies and Your Packaging Partner under the Sun Branding Solutions umbrella, the company has built a portfolio that is capable of meeting the challenging needs of the market and, through integrated systems, it will reduce the costs associated with the present fragmented supply base model.
And he said: "With current clients, the integrated brand offer is already providing an enhanced product and service, whilst delivering significant cost savings.
But the resulting benefits have also included speed, quality, innovation, environmental, flexibility, control and sales.".
