New Sales Director For Wyndeham Group

Wyndeham Press Group has appointed Gary Lasham as its sales director with immediate effect.

Wyndeham Press Group has appointed Gary Lasham as its sales director with immediate effect.

Gary Lasham is the current managing director of Print Direct, a Wyndeham company.

A graduate engineer, Lasham led the management buy-in in to Print Direct in 1997.

He has continued as managing director following Wyndeham's acquisition of the company in July 2000.

Previously, he held senior sales and management roles with Rexam PLC and with Low and Bonar where he spent five years culminating as anaging director of its carton subsidiary.

As a result, Mike Verga steps down as the current group sales director and from the board, with immediate effect.

Wyndeham said that Verga made an invaluable contribution at group level over the last seven years.

However, he will stay with Wyndeham as sales director of Grange Press.

Bryan Bedson, Wyndeham's chief executive, said: "The group will benefit greatly from Gary Lasham's move up in to the group sales director's role.
