New Group MD Joins Wyndeham From St Ives

Wyndeham Press Group has appointed Paul Utting as group managing director, which is a board position.

Wyndeham Press Group has appointed Paul Utting as group managing director, which is a board position.

His appointment follows the announcement, made on March 31, that Bryan Bedson has become chairman and chief executive, a role which will be split in due course.

Paul Utting, who is an MBA, is currently sales director of the St Ives Web Division, a division of St Ives plc, where he has held a central role in developing the divisional strategy, as well as responsibility for restructuring the sales force.

Prior to joining St Ives in 1999, he held senior sales and management roles with William Clowes, Jarrold and Sons Group and with Southernprint (Web Offset), where he spent three years culminating as marketing and sales director.

Utting is currently negotiating his release from St Ives and will be joining the Wyndeham Group as soon as that has been resolved.

Wyndeham said it will make a further announcement as soon as appropriate.

Bryan Bedson, Wyndeham chairman, said: "Paul Utting's drive and extensive experience, having spent almost 20 years in the printing industry, will undoubtedly be of great benefit to the group.
