Wyndeham MD Leaves For Finishing House

The Wyndeham Press Group has announced that Ray Lesnik, managing director of Wyndeham Impact is to leave the company.

The Wyndeham Press Group has announced that Ray Lesnik, managing director of Wyndeham Impact is to leave the company.

He will be replaced by Angus Freeman, who joined Wyndeham Impact as general manager in August.

Lesnick has been with the Wyndeham Press Group for 20 years, rising to become production director at Wyndeham Heron and he has been managing director of Wyndeham Impact since January 2004.

He leaves to take up a full time position at The Finishing Company, the mailing house and specialist print finishers in Witham, Essex (UK).

Ray Lesnik said: "I shall be sad to leave Wyndeham but I am also really looking forward to focusing my full attention on The Finishing Company and to staying in the printing and publishing industry." Angus Freeman, who joined Wyndeham Impact as general manager in August will assume the day to day responsibilities for the site from the end of September.

Freeman joined Wyndeham from Polestar Varnicoat and Newspac where he was responsible for customer service and was operations director for the News International account.

Prior to that he spent four years at Field Boxmore, a packaging company for the pharmaceutical industry, where he held a number of roles, including general manager of the Bedford site.

He also spent seven years with Glaxo Smith Kline in a variety of operational roles.

Freeman commented: "One of the attractions in joining Wyndeham is that the group is moving forward at an exciting pace.

I'm looking forward to transferring some of the experience I've gained in gravure, sheet-fed print and from outside the industry in to web-offset printing and to use my background in planning and customer care to help build further improvements in customer service for Wyndeham Impact's customers.".
