The future of West Ferry Printers still remains fluid, as Express Newspapers sparked another development in the long-running issue.

The future of West Ferry Printers still remains fluid, as Express Newspapers sparked another development in the long-running issue The Telegraph Group has been told by Express, which owns 50% of the newspaper plant, that it wishes to implement its change of control clause at the printers whereby Express could gain the right to buy the Telegraph's holding

The Express has also said it would intend to remove the Hollinger directors from the board at West Ferry.

Forty-two days are allowed for the company to make a formal bid for the Docklands plant, that turns over £80m a year.

Express believes that there has been a change of control at West Ferry, even though Hollinger, the Telegraph Group's parent, has not yet changed hands.
