Pump manufacturer Watson-Marlow, part of Spirax-Sarco Engineering, has acquired Pak Machinery, the UK distributor of Flexicon equipment, specialists in peristaltic aseptic filling systems.
The announcement follows Watson-Marlow's acquisition of the Danish company Flexicon earlier this year.
This further enhances Watson-Marlow's position in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors in the UK and its global reach.
Pak Machinery's founder and managing director, Philip King will join the Watson-Marlow sales team following the acquisition on the 1 November 2008.
