Xaar-Xennia Turnkey Inkjet Partnership Extended
Xaar and Xennia Technology have agreed to extend their inkjet cooperation first announced last June.
Xaar and Xennia Technology have agreed to extend their inkjet cooperation first announced last June.
Under the new agreement, Xennia will be a preferred Xaar integrator partner and the companies will work together to offer customers turnkey industrial inkjet systems, based on Xaar printheads and Xennia's inkjet ink and engineering capabilities.
At this week's IMI Inkjet Developers Conference in Geneva (Switzerland) Xennia will unveil plans for expansion in the fast growing market for industrial inkjet applications and launch its new product manufacturing and supply division, Xenjet, which will provide a range of inkjet print engines and production printers, available as stand-alone units or for integration on to customers' production lines.
The range of Xaar printheads and the latest greyscale heads will be fully supported by Xenjet products, said Xaar.
Commenting on the announcement, Nick Balon, the vice president and general manager of Xennia said: "We regard the strengthening of the Xennia-Xaar relationship as very good news for our customers.
Our goal is to make it easier for our customers to implement robust inkjet systems to their production processes.
Our expertise in inkjet ink formulation and systems integration, together with Xaar's position as a leading printhead company will, we believe, be a compelling proposition." Nigel Berry, the deputy chief executive of Xaar and head of business development said: "The increased level of commitment between Xaar and Xennia is a significant step and will benefit the end-users of our technology, particularly in the new markets we have targeted for future growth, which will require both systems and fluid development to be successful.
This announcement forms part of our strategy of building a powerful integrator network for Xaar printheads and other products.".
