Xaar's New Marketing Manager Moves In

Inkjet technology company, Xaar Plc has appointed Mark Alexander, as group marketing manager.

Inkjet technology company, Xaar Plc has appointed Mark Alexander, as group marketing manager.

Alexander joins Xaar following five years in the IT network industry, where he held a range of senior positions in operations, marketing and service development with Cisco, Front Runner and Omnetica (now Affiniti).

He also brings to Xaar 10 years' experience in the graphic arts industry, having worked with Crosfield, Fujifilm Electronic Imaging (FFEI) and Purup Eskofot prior to his time in the network sector.

Commenting on the appointment, Ian Dinwoodie, the chief executive of Xaar said: "Mark's extensive experience across both the graphic arts and IT sectors will be invaluable as Xaar drives its technology and business proposition in to vertical industry sectors." Alexander commented: "Xaar has the potential to make a huge impact and we are still really only at the beginning of what is possible with inkjet.

This is a very exciting time to be joining Xaar and I am looking forward to working with the executive team to continue to build on the success it has achieved to date, and drive our range of new platform products such as the Omnidot printhead family in to the market.".
