Xaar Adds Another Inkjet Ink Partner To Roster

A Xaar product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Jan 7, 2008

Nazdar has become the latest ink manufacturer to become an approved ink partner of inkjet head manufacturer, Xaar.

Nazdar has also achieved Xaar's approved status for its range of Lyson 7150F UV and 7340F UV Curable Flexible Series of digital imaging Inks for use with Xaar's 500/40 printheads.

Nazdar's inks are sold to OEMs and those also sold under the Lyson digital ink brand, are claimed to incorporate premium grade pigments and resins to ensure outdoor durability, as well as pigment dispersion to allow optimum printing performance, added Xaar.

Xaar added that actual and accelerated weather testing has demonstrated that Nazdar's inkjet inks withstand two years of exterior exposure without a significant change in density or colour variance.

In addition, Nazdar offers two separate limited warranties to provide customer assurance that the inks will perform reliably during the printing process and on finished graphics, added the company.

Nazdar is a manufacturer of screen printing inks and it also offers a range of aqueous, solvent, sublimation, oil-based and UV-curable digital inks for wide format and grand format digital printers.

Jill Woods, Xaar's ink product manager, commented: "We feel Nazdar's strategies are a good strategic fit with our own policies.

We are both very dedicated to providing high-quality inks to the market." Stewart Partridge, Nazdar's OEM and business development director, said: "The digital ink market is an increasingly important part of Nazdar's business.

Our strategy is to grow our OEM inkjet business significantly and we recognise that we need to combine our extensive expertise with other leading players in the inkjet sector, such as Xaar, to provide a high-quality, proven and reliable solution.".
