Xaardot takes centre stage at Fespa World Expo

A Xaar product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Nov 26, 2008

Xaar has announced that it will be showcasing its range of printheads at Fespa World Expo Asia-Pacific on 28-30 November, with Xaardot taking centre stage.

Xaardot is Xaar's ability to control variable-sized drops and fine-tune them to specific applications.

Xaar said that by tuning the options, printer manufacturers can choose the best option for the application - high quality photographic results for close-up indoor viewing, and high productivity larger drop work for outdoor viewing on billboards or other signage.

Companies exhibiting at Fespa World Asia who have chosen Xaar printheads to drive their wide format printers include Agfa, MyJet (Chiting), Fujifilm Sericol, Rodin (Hijet), Witcolor, Infinity (Yat Fung) and Shenzhen.

The Witcolor Ultra2000 and the Chiting Myjet wide format printers, which were launched at China Sign and feature the latest Xaar technology, make their Fespa debuts in Bangkok.

Xaar said that the number of its ink partners continues to grow, developing inks to image a variety of materials.

They include Aquatint Inks, Dubuit, Fujifilm Sericol, and Nazdar.
