Surprise Partnership For Agfa Produces New Machine
A new partnership has produced a new flatbed digital press for screen-printing in a surprise move.
Terracotta Press offers from high volume B2 litho printing through to short-run colour and mono jobs.
The company said it is now able to offer corporate clients and smaller local customers print services that are tailored to their needs.
From corporate brochures, report and accounts and posters to business cards and direct mail, Terracotta Press can now offer colour output at what it believes are competitive prices.
Based on the lower cost of the high quality colour output of the Xerox DocuColour 250's, Terracotta Press expects them to be amongst their most profitable machines in the next year.
"We have been considering further investment in a digital colour press as demand for our short-run services grew throughout last year.
Xeretec gave us a demonstration of the new Xerox Docucolour 250 at Digital Print World and we were very impressed by it.
We initially ordered one unit, but after a brief period we realised that because of the high quality of colour output it delivered, we would be able put a lot more work through the Xerox Docucolour 250 than we had first anticipated - so we ordered a second unit.
The output quality and the small footprint of the Xerox DocuColour 250 is amazing," commented Karen Low, director of Terracotta Press.
Low continued: "Xeretec has supported us with excellent service and the company has been a great help to us.
They had the first machine in and running within a couple of weeks of the order and their responsiveness to issues has been second to none.".
