At next week's IMI Inkjet Developers Conference in Geneva (Switzerland), Xennia will unveil plans for expansion in the fast growing market for industrial inkjet applications and will launch its new product manufacturing and supply division, Xenjet.

Xenjet will provide a range of inkjet print engines, production printers, development tools and inks, available as stand-alone products or for customisation and integration on to existing production lines.

Target applications include industrial printing, micro-dispensing, product decoration and coating, materials deposition and rapid prototyping, for sectors as diverse as packaging, graphics, printed electronics, smart labels, displays, biotech, automotive and textiles said Xennia.

With the creation of Xenjet, Xennia said that it is able to offer its customers a complete service for new inkjet applications, from initial feasibility studies, through customised chemistry and system development, to supply of full production systems and inks.

Xennia's chemistry-driven integration approach has enabled it to create a number of breakthrough application solutions, it claimed.

Alan Hudd, Xennia's president commented: "Xennia has a reputation in the industry as a leading innovator.

We began life as an inkjet formulations house but the last few years have seen Xennia increasingly developing full turnkey solutions, including ink and integrated production printers.

Xenjet is the next logical step for us.

Now we are able to take advantage of Xennia's development capabilities to offer our customers printing systems and inks for a wide range of applications, using our proprietary technology.

It realises our ambition to be the world's first one stop inkjet systems house.".
