Air Treatment System automatically removes toner dust from corona wires

The Xeikon OmniVac unit is an Advanced Internal Air Treatment System that automatically removes toner dust from corona wires and collects it in a central filter.

Using the OmniVac means that a high standard of print quality and consistency is retained for far longer periods, while the overall maintenance time for the operator is reduced significantly, by almost 50%.

Not only is operator maintenance time reduced, machine uptime and productivity are increased, and the life of the critical parts in the imaging system, such as the corona wires, the cleaning unit spare parts and the OPC drums, is extended dramatically.

The OmniVac unit is easy to install and compatible with all Xeikon-based digital colour printers.

The system is fitted in an extra housing, outside the printer, and is connected to the cleaning units inside.

OmniVac functions as an automatic centralized waste collecting unit, using a strong blower connected to a cyclone filter, a dust filter and a central waste container.
