Xinet has added three products from Galilee-Folio Group to its Technology Partner programme.

The Technology Partner (XTP) programme was created in 2000 to identify and promote products complementary to Xinet computing environments.

The Galilee-Folio Group products - Shakerstudio, Folio-VA, and Folio-Select - extend the functions of Xinet's digital asset management software, Webnative, to further automate publishing, catalogue, advertising and graphic media environments.

Catherine de Saint-Oyan, IT manager of McCann Erickson in Lyon (France), said: "Shakerstudio brings us closer to our customers by linking them to our production environment.

It provides security for the content and automation of the processes.

It is the common tool used by everyone here in sales, creation and production." Shakerstudio is a client and server software package that enables companies producing catalogues to centralise, standardise and exchange text and images without breaking the chain of job creation and approval.

Associated project documents such as advertisements, point-of-sale displays and labels are automatically available and updated in real time, whilst everyone in the production chain from clients to suppliers, can access workflow information via the internet.

Folio-Versions-Archive combines an incremental backup by production file management and an archiving to disk facility.

Folio-VA supplies the disk storage systems on the server with versions, near-line archives and off-line archive backup functions.

Folio-Select is a plug-in application that creates temporary Webnative login accounts.

A Webnative user can collect files in a basket and make them available to an outside user via a temporary, password protected, user account.

An email containing login information is automatically sent to the temporary user.

Folio Groupe's sales and marketing director, Arnaud Mazon, said: "Shaker enables catalogue companies to increase production by saving time and costs.

Shaker offers a more efficient way to share information by connecting the different figures in the production chain.

It's the same with Folio-VA, as it permits one to manage live assets easily and keep on-line data that can be re-used immediately in production with Webnative."
