Xitron has promoted Bret Farrah to the newly created position of vice president for support services.
Xitron has promoted Bret Farrah to the newly created position of vice president for support services.
In his new role, Farrah will continue to manage educational services and support and he will also oversee Xitron's quality assurance and corporate IT departments.
He will join Xitron's executive leadership staff reporting directly to Xitron president Jim Thrush.
Farrah began his graphic arts career 24 years ago as a sales representative with Varityper.
After advancing through several support management and product marketing positions with Prepress Solutions, he was eventually named vice president of marketing for Fileflow.
Jim Thrush said: "Improved customer service and support played a critical role in the growth and success of Xitron's business these past two years.
Bret's dedication and guidance as manager of the educational services and support department contributed significantly to that improvement and I expect that to carry over to his new responsibilities.".
