Xitron-Enfocus Ties Extend To Navigator
And RIP
Xitron and Enfocus have extended their technology agreement to include Xitron's new Navigator GPS and RIP Manager 3.0 products.

Xitron Launches Xenith Extreme Workflow With JDF
Xitron has launched the new 6.0 version of Xenith Extreme.
It also supports Enfocus certified PDF workflows used for PDF quality assurance and for streamlining print production.
The two companies also announced that a promotion begun in 2005 will now be offered with RIP Manager.
Now running until June 30, Xitron customers who purchase either Navigator GPS or Navigator RIP Manager will receive a copy of Enfocus's Instant PDF software, worth US$199.
Xitron customers can either utilise Instant PDF themselves to create specifications queue, or provide copies to their customers, facilitating the creation of PDF files that will travel through a PDF workflow without problems, said the company.
Navigator GPS is regarded by Xitron as its flagship product, incorporating the Navigator RIP and Navigator RIP Manager to serve as a pre-press production tool.
RIP Manager can also be used to control Harlequin RIPs marketed by A B Dick, Agfa, Compose, ECRM, Esko-Graphics, Highwater, Mitsubishi, Presstek, and Screen, moving workflow control from the RIP platform to the pre-press operator workstation, said the company.
Enfocus Instant PDF performs PDF creation through to final output and jump-starts a certified PDF workflow.
The stand alone application is claimed to make flawless PDFs from within any native layout application.
Built-in certified PDF technology ensures quality and keeps users connected to up-to-date specifications via certifiedPDF.net software, added the company.
Jim Thrush, the president of Xitron, said: "Enfocus is recognised as the leader in pre-flight technology and we are pleased to extend our agreement to include Navigator GPS and Navigator RIP Manager.
