RIPs And Workflow Systems On Show At Graph Expo
Xitron's products will be showcased by several partners during Graph Expo in Chicago (USA) from October 15-18.

Graphic arts industry manufacturers including Glunz and Jensen, Jetplate, Mitsubishi Imaging, and Presstek will be demonstrating Xitron products on their stands.
Xitron will also demonstrate its entire line of RIPs and workflow systems for the small to mid-size commercial printer, including the latest Xenith Aero Premier workflow, Xenith 4PDF and Xenith Extreme and Navigator GPS.
The Xitron stand will be number 4650.
Xenith Aero workflow is part of its expanding line of RIP and workflow systems.
Based on Adobe core technology, Aero is the claimed to be suitable for larger commercial printers.
As a fully featured workflow, Aero offers in-RIP imposition, Xitron XM hybrid screening technology and JDF and database connectivity amongst its standard and optional features.
Changing from other Xitron systems to Aero is also said to allow users to start with a system that best fits their business requirements today and migrate as needs demand.
Xenith's 4PDF and Extreme are the mid-range Adobe core workflow products from Xitron.
The company's 4PDF and Extreme are for many four-up commercial printers.
Both Mac and Windows-based client software give pre-press operators full control of the workflow from any desktop, added the company.
Navigator GPS is claimed by Xitron to be one of the most affordable workflow systems available for printers, with typical pricing ranging from US$6,000 - US$10,000.
Navigator GPS offers an automated workflow for job management, including PDF creation and pre-flighting.
Comprised of the Navigator RIP and Xitron's RIP Manager, Navigator GPS is suitable for many two-up and four-up print operations.
Xitron will also highlight its new line of Totalproof Media.
Totalproof X1 Media is a semi-gloss inkjet paper designed to emulate press output on coated stock and is suitable for colour critical proofs and contract proofs, said the company.
Totalproof X2 Media is a general purpose paper designed for less colour critical applications, such as imposition proofs, or applications where the final output may be laminated.
Glunz and Jensen will demonstrate the Navigator RIP with a custom inkjet-to-plate driver outputting to the Platewriter 4200.
Glunz and Jensen will be on stand 4646.
Jetplate will demonstrate the Jetplate RIP in conjunction with the new iSetter, a one-footprint CTP system that images and processes plates in a single system on stand 4632.
Mitsubishi Imaging will demonstrate the SDP-RIP, including Smarttools and Smart Manager in driving its line of CTP devices.
on stand 4629.
Presstek will demonstrate Navigator RIP Manager working in conjunction with its Momentum RIP driving the Presstek 52DI, Directpress 5634 DI and the chemistry-free Dimension450 Excel CTP system.
Presstek will be on stand 3822.
