Xitron and Megasupport, Xitron's distributor in The Netherlands, have announced that Xitron RIPs and workflow systems will be demonstrated at Grafische Vakbeurs Benelux from February 13-15.

R Patrick French, vice president of sales and marketing for Xitron, said: "We are pleased to participate with Megasupport at this important Benelux exhibition.

Our distributor relationships are some of our greatest strengths, allowing Xitron to reach in to markets and regions of the world in which our dealers, such as Megasupport, have tremendous experience and customer loyalty." Xenith is a mid-range Adobe core workflow system from Xitron that is said to be suitable for four-up and larger commercial printers.

Both Mac and Windows-based client software give pre-press operators full control of the workflow from any desktop, said the company.

The Navigator GPS workflow system, based on the Harlequin RIP core technology from Global Graphics Software, is claimed by Xitron to offer automated workflow for job management, including PDF creation and pre-flighting options.

Comprised of the Navigator RIP and Xitron's RIP Manager, Navigator GPS is an said to be suitable for two-up and four-up shops.

"Megasupport is pleased to offer Xitron's systems to our customers in the Netherlands," said Hans Ultee, managing director of Megasupport.

"Navigator GPS and Xenith workflow provide a high degree of automation allowing commercial printers to streamline their pre-press workflow." The Xitron products will be demonstrated by Megasupport technical staff at the Megasupport stand - 191.
