Workflows and Digital Press Go On Show In Spain

Xitron and Ballal Grafic, Xitron's distributor in Spain will demonstrate Xitron's Navigator GPS workflow systems and Prism short-run digital press at Graphispag 2007.

Xitron and Ballal Grafic, Xitron's distributor in Spain will demonstrate Xitron's Navigator GPS workflow systems and Prism short-run digital press at Graphispag 2007 from February 19-26 in Barcelona (Spain).

The Xitron Prism is an LED based plain paper digital press that is claimed to be capable of producing output of up to 36 pages per minute in colour, and up to 40 pages per minute in mono.

Designed for commercial printers, the Prism is powered by the Navigator GPS Select Workflow.

Navigator GPS is available for commercial printers.

Based on the Harlequin RIP core technology from Global Graphics Software, Navigator GPS offers an automated workflow system for job management, including PDF creation and pre-flighting options, said Xitron.

Comprised of the Navigator RIP and Xitron's RIP Manager, Navigator GPS is a suitable workflow system for two-up and four-up shops, said the company.

Ballal Grafic will also demonstrate Xitron's X1 inkjet media designed to meet the needs of commercial printers by more closely matching a typical offset press sheet than other inkjet papers on the market, added Xitron.

Products will also be demonstrated by Balla Grafic's technical staff on the Ballal Grafic stand in hall two on stand D700.
