After 12 years with Xitron, the company's president, Jim Thrush is to retire.

He will be replaced by Xitron's current chief executive officer, Mark Eisenschenk Thrush began his career with Xitron in 1996 as a sales representative and was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing

In 2000, he became president and in that position he was responsible for building Xitron's worldwide dealer network and expanding the company's role as an OEM supplier.

During Thrush's tenure, Xitron said it achieved a number of milestones, including the successful transition from being just a provider of replacement RIPs to becoming a provider of workflow systems with support for 250 different output devices.

In addition, Xitron has just celebrated its 30th anniversary and delivered its 15,000th RIP and workflow system.

Thrush commented: "I've been very fortunate to have had a successful career, including time with Itek, Gerber, Crosfield and Scitex.

However of all the opportunities I've had, I particularly enjoyed my time at Xitron and have had the privilege of making many good friends.".
