Xitron has released an interface to drive the Heidelberg Prosetter range of CTP devices.
Based on Xitron's USB interface design, the Prosetter interface supports the P52, P74 and P102 models, using the single cassette loader (SCL) and multi-cassette loader (MCL).
The interface is available for Xitron's range of RIP and workflow systems including the Navigator RIP based on the Harlequin RIP core technology, the Navigator GPS workflow with job manager and the Navigator Elite workflow with job manager, PDF tools, ink remapping and integrated imposition.
The Prosetter interface is also suitable for the Xenith Sierra workflow based on the Adobe PDF Print Engine and the Raster Blaster Tiff catcher for third-party workflows and RIPs.
Xitron is offering RIP and workflow systems, such as the new Prosetter interface, through its network of OEMs, distributors, dealers, and system integrators.
