Eight Xante AW1200 printers given away to visitors at Graph Expo have been delivered to the winners.

The AW1200 is an Adobe Postscript, tabloid, laser printer valued at $995.

Xante said the printer's standard features include 1200 dots per inch (dpi) x 1200dpi printing, gamma correction and enhanced screening and that it weighs 27lbs.

"Its a wonderful machine.

It was time for us to retire our old mono printer and the AW1200 is a great step up.

We now use the AW1200 for printing graphics and it does a great job," said Pamela O'Connor of American Color Print.

Wright Johnson of Dimension Arts is already using his laser printer and commented: "It does a little bit of everything." The remaining winners were: Brad Mehrkens, Donnells Printing; Charles Spontelli, Bowling Green State University; Tim Hirsch, Pacificolor; Bill Quinn, American Cube Corp; Terry Leiner, The Hubbard Press and Teresa Pigeon, SAS.

Perfect for the office, school, corporate departments, and small businesses, the AW1200 is a complete package.
