Xante to demonstrate latest products at Labelexpo

Xante will feature its latest developments in automated pre-press workflow and digital imaging systems for the flexo label market at Labelexpo Americas from 9 -11 September in Rosemont, US.

Visitors to stand 3007 will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of the company's Symphony Flexo Workflow, the all-in-one Adobe PDF workflow with new features including end-to-end colour management, built-in Pantone Colour Libraries, Freeform Ganging, new Markup/Bearer Bar functionality and enhanced Linearisation.

Symphony Flexo Workflow is a turnkey PDF workflow featuring support for the Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE) (including Adobe PostScript 3).

It drives a wide variety of output devices including platesetters, imagesetters, laser printers, digital colour presses, copiers, inkjet printers and plotters, all from a single Raster Image Processor (RIP).

This centralised control maintains file consistency from preview, to proof, to plate.

It offers advanced colour management and automates complex prepress tasks such as file setup, trapping, screening, imposition and application of linearisation and dot-gain compensation.

The modular design of Symphony Flexo Workflow allows users to add options to meet growing production needs.

Labelexpo visitors will also see the Ilumina 502 digital colour press featuring a new 500ft roll feeder.

Handling a variety of media, the Ilumina 502 prints full colour on 12.9in wide x 47.24in long maximum sheet size.

It can be used for short-run, full color, on-demand applications.
