Xplor offers Industry and Technology Trends course
Xplor International has announced details of one of the seven courses to be featured at its annual global conference and exhibition.
'Industry and Technology Trends' will provide delegates with an understanding of how technology, combined with changes in human behaviour, has changed how people receive, disseminate, retain and respond to information.
The course will feature industry experts and users exploring the evolution of technology and its impact on the transactional document industry.
Attendees can also learn about the positive and negatives of PURLS, wikis and blogs for engaging customers and prospects.
It will also explore new developments in security, the impact of social networks and the convergence of PDLs, RFID in document production, emerging media and print and output technologies.
The course will cover the technologies that govern how people communicate with customers and prospects and the trends that drive changes.
The course is suitable for senior managers, presidents, chief executive officers, chief information officers, IT directors, HR management, company owners or those interested in understanding the impact of technology trends on customer communications.
Xplor's 2009 global conference and exhibition will also offer courses on application trends, content, compliance and security trends, as well as a data technology and management forum.
Print, mail and web-applications best practices and vendor focus forums will also be staged.
There are a number of registration packages, including a platinum passport (all courses, all days and all events) as well as a choice of day passes.
The conference and exhibition will be held at the Trade Winds Island Grand Hotel and Conference Center in Tampa Bay, Florida, from 4-7 March.
