X-Rite has introduced Advanced Colour Ensembles hardware and software to help creative, photographic, and pre-press professionals better manage colour throughout the workflow.

X-Rite has introduced Advanced Colour Ensembles hardware and software to help creative, photographic, and pre-press professionals better manage colour throughout the workflow.

Users are claimed to be able to calibrate a monitor, create accurate ICC profiles and prepare a digital file for print in an all-in-one package.

Advanced Colour Ensembles will be demonstrated at Photokina on X-Rite's stand - F-014 in Hall 14.1.

"From the moment a digital image is created, through final output or print, creative professionals care about their colour," said Terry Denczek, X-Rite's worldwide product manager for Graphic Arts.

"Advanced Colour Ensembles helps streamline the workflow, providing one complete bundled solution, combining best of class hardware with award winning software.

Together, they have the best tools to guarantee perfect color every time for every client," he added.

Advanced Colour Ensembles includes the Monaco Optixx R Pro Edition colourimeter designed with patent pending technology to produce ICC profiles for CRT and flat panel colour displays.

It is bundled with Monaco Optix software for complete monitor calibration.

Also featured is the DTP70 Scanning X-Y spectrophotometer, claimed to be the industry's fastest and most accurate colour management system for proofing specialists, on-demand printers and pre-press professionals.

Designed for ICC profiling and calibration during the proofing process, DTP70 is said to reduce costs, ensures proof-to-press matching and manages colour.

Monaco Profiler v4.7 Gold, or Platinum colour management software provide management software with a 'wizard-like' interface where the user controls the ICC profiles for input devices, monitors, and colour output devices.
