Expanding Xerox's portfolio of graphic arts products, the Phaser EX7750 provides the power, colour precision and advanced workflow controls to support a wide range of graphic arts and production applications from short-run printing to in-plant print shops said Xerox.
The Phaser EX7750 colour management tools streamline the printing process and eliminate extra review cycles, it is claimed.
It is the result of the long-standing collaboration between Xerox and EFI, which includes Fiery servers optimised for the Xerox Docucolor 12 copier andprinter, Docucolor 3535 multifunction system, Docucolor 5252, 6060 and 8000 digital presses and the Xerox iGen3 digital production press.
"The Phaser EX7750 is designed to provide customers with increased productivity, saving them time and money as they produce outstanding prints," said Job Rombout, European business manager for the Xerox Office Group in Europe.
"The Fiery EX7750 server is bundled with the colour printer to create a 'one-two punch' that can handle even the most complex projects.
Xerox and EFI share a commitment to provide products for customers ranging from smaller print shops and office environments to high-end production," said Frank Mallozzi, vice president of worldwide sales at EFI.
"The Phaser EX7750 is another terrific opportunity to show graphic artists who demand high-quality, high-performance colour printing capabilities why Fiery consistently earns the industry's accolades," he added.
The system features the Fiery Colorwise colour management software, that is claimed to offer built-in intelligence for producing consistently precise colours from all applications, platforms and file formats.
It has features for novice and experienced graphic artists that make the Phaser EX7750 easy to use, together with auto-trapping for layering graphics and Spot-On colour technology for colour accuracy claimed the company.
Command EFI's Workstation, ensures a cohesive workflow, by guiding people through every job process, with claimed easy queue management and RIP control.
The server supports print resolutions of 600 dots per inch (dpi) at 35 pages per minute (ppm) as well as a 1,200dpi high gloss mode.
It is claimed to equip the Phaser EX7750 to produce glossy finish, high-quality brochures, posters and mailers on-demand.
The Xerox Phaser EX7750 colour laser printer is available now through all Xerox channels.
